About Me

I recently took this journey into UX Design and Research following the disruption of COVID-19. Before the pandemic, I had been working a mix of kitchen, special events, and hotel jobs, in both front and back of house positions for over the course of about ten years. During that time, I had learned about working side-by-side with individuals that all had real struggles. People that were guests, customers, team members and coworkers. I started to learn what it was to have attention to detail, and to have an eye for understanding what it was that was frustrating or taxing to people. My goal in UX Design and Research is for the betterment of the community and users at large, not just for myself. By understanding what pains users and slows processes, we all move forward together.
